Technology & Services
The server-side language powering the entire ArcadeGo backend, running on PHP 8.2+.
The PHP framework ArcadeGo is built on — routing, ORM, queues, auth, mail, and the broader ecosystem of first-party packages that cover authentication, observability, and API tooling.
The CSS framework and icon library the web frontend and admin panel are built on. Bootstrap 5 handles the responsive grid, components, and over 2,000 open source icons.
Frontend build tooling for bundling, compiling Sass, and hot-reloading assets in development. Production builds are lean and cache-friendly.
Data Sources & Attribution
ArcadeGo integrates with several external data providers. We're grateful to these communities and organizations for making their data available.
ArcadeGo uses OpenStreetMap data to supplement venue hours and location information, queried via the Overpass API. OpenStreetMap is a collaborative, freely-editable map of the world built by volunteers.
Pinball machine location data is imported from Pinball Map, a community-maintained, open database of pinball machines in arcades, bars, and public locations around the world.
Pinball tournament and event listings are sourced from the IFPA's public calendar feed. The IFPA is the governing body for competitive pinball worldwide, maintaining rankings, sanctioned tournaments, and event records for thousands of players globally.
